The Self-Made Engineer (SME) Program is a groundbreaking initiative designed specifically for recording artists who aspire to take charge of their creative process, end-to-end. Over an intensive 2-month-long journey, artists delve deep into the world of music production and engineering, acquiring not only the technical know-how but also the creative insights needed to craft their unique sound.
Beyond the technical training, the program's real impact lies in its empowerment. Recording artists are no longer bound by external dependencies or exorbitant studio costs. With the skills they hone during this program, artists can confidently produce music that remains true to their vision. The added advantage of engaging with industry professionals provides networking opportunities, a richer understanding of the music business, and the assurance that they are being guided by the best in the industry. By the end of the course, artists won't just walk away as more informed musicians; they will have the confidence and capability to stand tall as self-made engineers.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION: Show proof of knowledge and skills that will aid you in being able to confidently run studio sessions in larger scale studios.
COURSE INSTRUCTORS
Our core facilitator will be Pre-Grammy Nominated Jason Jet. Collectively our coaches have produced and engineered over hundreds of artists and also have put in the hours crafting their own personal music. Jason has worked with the notable likes of Erykah Badu, Anthony Hamilton and the Tones, Dwele, Joe, Eric Roberson, Fantasia and much more.
BONUS: Some of our Drop in Coaches will consist of high level Grammy Award Winning Artists.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE
CLASSES AND LABS ARE HELD WEEKLY EVERY TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY FROM 6PM-9PM
STUDENTS WILL ALSO RECEIVE FREE STUDIO TIME TO WORK ON CLASS WORK AND PROJECTS ON THEIR PERSONAL TIME. USING ALL 16 HOURS IS A REQUIREMENT FOR COMPLETING THIS PROGRAM.
